David C Lyons was born in Lancashire and has lived in and around the Pendle area all his life. His early education was in the old mill towns of Colne and Nelson.

His career started in teaching and then, via commercial art in to the printing industry, culminating in becoming a self employed graphic artist, all of which has given him considerable experience and is now putting it to good use as an Artist.
