Who are the Pendle Artists?
Pendle Artists were formed in 1968 by a group of students attending classes at Burnley Municipal College, Lancashire. The object of the society is to encourage appreciation of the visual arts and to promote exhibitions of the highest possible standard.
We hold two main exhibitions a year, Spring and Autumn, when exhibitions travel round to a number of different venues. All work entered for exhibiting will be subject to selection.
Although we do not hold regular classes; social occasions, demonstrations and trips are arranged, news of which are listed in a Pendle News Letter and distributed along with the exhibition schedules to each member.
Pendle Artists is an open society with no residential boundaries. It costs £12.00 to become a member. This figure includes the first year's fees, after which there is an annual fee of £10.00. If you would like to become a member, please contact our membership secretary by clicking here |
